THREE of Asian Trails top executives, Mr Laurent Kuenzle,
Mr Jacques Guichandut and Mr Roger Haumueller, have
collaborated on a new venture – a six-villa resort
in Seminyak, Bali, which will open in January.
Having travelled extensively and seen hundreds of villas
to book clients in, the trio came up with the concept
of Space at Bali, which is also the resort’s name.
Mr Kuenzle said: “Space is our motto. It is something
that cannot be found in Seminyak anymore.”
The concept is to offer clients real space in terms
of luxury, tropical gardens and private pools; design
space; intimate space,
where they can sleep on canopy beds or under the skies;
and external space, where they can explore Seminyak.
“We are in an excellent location in Seminyak,
in a quiet street, but within walking distance to all
the restaurants, bars, shops, spas and Legian beach,”
Mr Kuenzle said.
Each of the six villas is 600m2 in size with 200m2
villa space and 400m2 garden, pool and bale. The lap
pool is 12m long. All villas have two bedrooms, a dining/living
room, kitchen, open-air bathroom and lounge area. They
are private but have connecting
doors to one another, making the resort ideal for groups
of friends or large families.
On request, connecting doors are opened and guests
can have meals all together in one villa.
